Specialist support for professional referrers managing multiple and complex needs
We work with professionals across health, social care, education, case management, and independent practice to support children and adults with multiple and complex posture, seating, positioning, and associated specialist equipment needs.
Our role is to bring clinically grounded reasoning, clear reporting, practical liaison, and ongoing review together so that professional referrers can move forward with greater confidence, clarity, and focus on the outcomes that matter most for the individual.

Main referral streams
We support a range of referral pathways depending on the individual, funding route, clinical context, and the outcomes being sought, whether needs are emerging, multiple, or highly complex.
Case Management and Medico-Legal
Clinically grounded assessment, reporting, and equipment recommendation support for case managers, deputies, and legal teams involved in multiple, complex, catastrophic injury, and long-term disability cases.
NHS and Statutory Services
Collaborative referrals from NHS teams, wheelchair services, community services, and statutory organisations where specialist seating, posture, positioning, and equipment input is needed to support robust clinical decision-making and longer-term planning.
Paediatric and Education Referrals
Support for children and young people where posture management, equipment, access, comfort, and participation need to be considered across home, school, and wider daily life.
Equipment Review and Reassessment
Referrals where existing equipment is no longer meeting need, where reassessment is required, or where an independent clinically grounded second opinion would help clarify the most appropriate next step.
Complex 24-Hour Posture Management
Highly specialist referrals involving multiple and complex seating, lying, positioning, associated equipment, and multidisciplinary coordination across the full 24-hour posture management pathway.

Our process is designed to be clear, clinically grounded, and responsive to the needs of both the individual and the referring professional, helping build confidence from first contact through to review.

Initial Contact
Each referral is reviewed to understand the presenting need, wider context, urgency, complexity, and the key stakeholders involved.

Information Gathering
We gather relevant clinical, functional, environmental, and service information to plan the most appropriate next step and support efficient, clinically grounded decision-making.

Assessment and Liaison
A specialist assessment is arranged, with liaison as needed across families, carers, case managers, services, and equipment partners to keep the process joined up, practical, and relevant to the individual’s needs.

Recommendations and Reporting
We provide clear recommendations and reporting to support decision-making, equipment trials, procurement discussions, and longer-term planning with confidence and clinical clarity.

Review and Ongoing Support
Where required, we remain involved for review, follow-up, and ongoing support as needs evolve over time and outcomes continue to be monitored in a clinically relevant way.
