Wheel of Health was built on a simple belief: people with multiple and complex 24-hour posture, seating and equipment needs, deserve specialist support that is client centered, practical, and sustained over time.
Since 2005, we have grown into a trusted clinical service supporting adults and children with multiple and complex needs through specialist assessment, seating and equipment recommendations, collaborative working, and ongoing review — always with the aim of improving comfort, function, independence, and long-term outcomes.

Our process is designed to bring structure, clarity, and confidence to multiple and complex 24-hour posture management. From first enquiry to assessment, trial, prescription, and review, we work in a way that helps clients, families, commissioners, and case managers move forward with confidence.
Led by our Clinical Director Lucy Weech and supported by an experienced multi-professional team, Wheel of Health offers a flexible, specialist approach that helps meet multiple and complex needs with practical solutions that are clinically appropriate, cost-effective, and focused on better outcomes over time.

We know that specialist seating and posture support can feel complex. Our process is designed to make each stage clearer, more collaborative, and easier to navigate.
From the first point of contact, our Clinical Director reviews each enquiry individually to understand your needs, context, and the most appropriate next step.
We liaise with you, and with any commissioner or case manager involved, to agree the assessment process clearly and efficiently. Once confirmed, one of our consultants will be allocated to continue the assessment and prescription journey.
Your consultant will review your case in detail and arrange an initial assessment to understand posture, seating needs, goals, and the wider clinical context.
Following the initial assessment, your consultant will provide a detailed report outlining seating and postural needs, along with product options considered clinically suitable. With agreement from you and any commissioner or case manager involved, we will then arrange the relevant product trials.
Your consultant will agree the final specification with you and the relevant equipment suppliers. This is then documented clearly to support costing, provision, final fitting, and any training needed for you or your carers.
We place real importance on review, so we agree a follow-up plan that reflects your needs over time. Your consultant continues to work with you, and with any commissioner or case manager involved, as circumstances and needs evolve.
